A very nice commercial made for Aladoo. After completion the commercial was shelved because the company changed owners. A year later they finaly broadcasted it. The company already doesn’t exist anymore, how quick tings can go. For this commercial I 3d tracked the shots, modeled, textured, shaded, lighted and rigged the balloon. Animation was done by Chris Wood.
For the chanel commercial I modeled, rigged and animated a 3d Head with hair-shape, and rotoscoped the movement of the girl in the commercial so that the shadows of the 3d threads would appear naturally on her face and hair. Not all work of vfx artists is glorious 😉
For the 2014 worldcup we made this commercial for powerade. At first I build the whole area surrounding the stadium in 3d for a custom camera shot over the stadium. But two weeks into the project the director wanted to change the position and angle of the camera which meant building a much bigger part of the area. Because that would require too much time the director went for stock footage. I 3d tracked the shot, textured, shaded and lighted the stadium.
Matt Leary, the 3d lead on this project, came over from London to work on this commercial. Away from hectic London he was hoping to have a nice relaxed time in Amsterdam. The only time he left the office was two months later when the job was finished and he went home again 🙂 For this job I sculpted the fold on the cauch, modeled, texured, shaded and rigged the box, animated the box, sculpted the deformations of the box, animated Scrats eyes and animated the acorn at the end.
This clip is one of eight sequences made for the tusenfryd park theme park in Norway. It was a dream to work on even though it was almost a constant crunch time. Apart from Loki, the guy floating through the castle (made by Tim Boland) I designed, modeled, textured, shaded, animated and simulated everything.
One of the better projects I’ve worked on! This is one of the 8 sequences that were made for a 3d-ride for the tusenfryd park theme park in Norway. Almost constant crunch time but lots of creative freedom. For the bridge scene I was responsible for almost everything. Loki, the guy destroying the bridge was done by Tim Boland, the forest at the base of the bridge was done by Tim Borgman and a statue for on the bridge were supplied. The rest was up to me, modeling, shattering, texturing, shading, animating and simulations.
A very funny commercial this one. Amazingly enough, the whole transformation of the pub was done for real! There wasn’t much vfx work left to be done. I did 3d tracking, helped out with the aquarium behind the bar and did the Heineken Start Service panel.
Another football related commercial. This one we took over from another agency. I believe the client wasn’t totally satisfied and wanted Glasswork to finish it. I did the animation of the crane sequence, shading and rendering and I modeled the body of the plane.
